VEH002 - Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. F with Ostketten - Stalingrad 1942
Our second WWII vehicle is another Stug variant, this time the Stug III Ausf. F upgunned with the Stuk 40 L/48 gun and depicted with Ostketten and welded on applique armor. It bears the markings of the Stug Abteilung 244 and has been painted in a more traditional panzer grey. The crew variant for this model wear helmets rather than hats and as another innovation are full bodied figures which can be displayed both inside and outside the model for maximum flexibility. Further, the gun can be displayed both lowered for firing and raised for travelling mode. Finally, the tow cables are realistically attached but not fixed to the model, so that they can be lifted off, straightened, and used as part of diorama of the Stug towing/being towed by another vehicle. The pefect compliment to our figures, this is a highly detailed and superbly sculpted, painted, and detailed model.
