	Stock is on the way again so we've enabled online ordering for figure codes NAP0045-NAP0060 again.   Any orders containing these figures codes will ship out the first or second week of September.   As always, your credit card won't be charged until your order actually ships.   We would advise you to order early to make sure that you get the codes and quantities that you want!

•	All 40mm Historical Miniatures on Sale - 20% off from August 1st through August 20th!!!!
	In preparation for the release of several new ranges of figures, including our Napoleonic Russians, Persian Cavalry, Macedonians, French Napoleon and Ney, and French Old Guard, we're currently offering all of our current 40mm ranges, including the Spartans, Persians, French Cavalry, and French Artillery, at 20% off from now through August 20th.   We're hoping this will give collectors and wargamers an opporutnity to see our figures first hand or to grow their collections in anticipation for the release of many new figures in September and October.  So act quickly, as this is a limited time offer.

•	54mm Napoleon's Europe and 40mm Spartans, Persians, and Napoleonic French at Historicon
	George Guerriero from Minutemen Toy Soldiers will be attending Historicon next weekend and will be bringing all of our current releases with him.   He will have all of our new Napoleon's Europe French Line infantry (all codes NAP0031-NAP0060) as well as our 40mm Persians, Spartans, French Cavalry, and French Artillery so if you're going to the show make sure you stop by his booth and pickup some goodies.  For those of you who have never seen our figures in the flesh, this is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with all of our products.  We're quite confident that you will like what you see.   George will also have all sorts of products from other manufacturers in both toy soldiers and miniature wargames, so do stop by as I'm sure he'll have something for everyone.

July 4th, 2008

•	54mm Napoleon's Europe French Line Infantry Now Shipping
	The new French Line Infantry have now hit our warehouse and are shipping next business day!!!  Figure codes NAP0031-NAP0043 are now in stock and will ship out regularly.   Figure codes NAP0045-NAP0060 will have their stock replenished sometime around the end of July.   The response was much greater to the figures than we anticipated and we've sold out of all of our initial stock on these codes.  This is certainly a good sign of our continued growth and acceptance into the market and on future deliveries, we'll make certain that we air ship in more sets to meet the increased demand for our products.   So, until then, pick up the Fusiliers and Command of the 61st French Line infantry now to start your displays and then add the Voltiguers and Grenadiers of the 61st along with the Fusiliers of the 57th and the Voltigeurs firing of the 85th towards the end of July when we turn the catalog back on for your orders.   All in all, at 29 figure codes making up this release, you can create simply wonderful and unique displays for the French Line infantry in close order formation!

•	54mm Napoleon's Europe British Guard Infantry Added to the Gallery!
	Well, we've received so many requests to do British that we've moved them up in the production schedule ahead of some other items that we had originally anticipated releasing first.   So, due for release in October we bring you the British Guard Infantry elite company of the 1st British Foot Guards.   As you can see from the images in the Gallery, which show only 9 of the 14 figures due out as part of this release, the sculpts are extremely animated and the pose variation will allow for an absolutely wonderful firing line or square.  With 4 kneeling poses alone, these figures will make for a wonderful display and are just another example of how committed we are at First Legion to bring you the finest Napoleonic Toy Soldiers in the world!   Please check back periodically as we will add the remaining figures that are part of this release as soon as we have good images of them.

•	40mm Wars of Antiquity Recast Spartans and Persians Now Shipping!
	That's right, you can now break out your Hot Gates and get down to business.   Packs AN001-AN009 Spartan infantry and Packs AN012-AN017 Persian Empire infantry are now shipping. Each pack contains 4 unique and beautifully sculpted figures.  Our We had some initial feedback on our Spartans that the spears were too fragile and as they were cast in the figure's hand, they had the potential of breaking and requiring significant effort to fix.   We agreed, so we recast all the figures with spears and inserted a hard wire metal spear directly into the mold so that it has the spear tip and end cast directly on and is cast as part of the figure.  This solution provides for an extremely strong spear that will stand up to the rigors of wargaming.   You can se an example of this on the individual product pages.   Shortly after this release, will be the 3 packs of 40mm Persian Cavalry and then you'll see the first of our Macedonians.   We're very excited about the 40mm Wars of Antiquity product range and we hope you are too.  Click here to visit the product pages and place your order.  Be sure to check out the workbench and the gallery for upcoming releases and photos of the figures.

•	NAP0031-NAP0043 and NAP0045-NAP0060 Now Available for Order - Ships 6/20/2008
	Our French Line infantry are finally available for order in our online catalog.  Our largest release to date, the French Line infantry is composed of 29 different figures specifically designed to be displayed in large units.  The subtle pose variation allows for an interesting mix while having the men in a unit actually look like a unit rather than a series of one off individuals doing their own thing.   The French 61st Line is well covered with Fusiliers, Command, Grenadiers, and Voltigeurs allowing you to make up a full unit display of their advance against the Fleches at Borodino in 1812.  The "Terrible" 57th Line is also represented in a dynamic charging pose as they assault the Russian field works clearing the way for the 61st Line.  Finally, the voltigeurs of the 85th Line keep the Russian Jaegers in the Utista woods occupied off to the right of the advance in firing and skirmishing poses.  Though each is designated as a particular regiment, interesting cominations beyond the obvious can be made up by mixing and matching figures.  For example, an entire company of firing line figures can be made by using the voltigeurs of the 85th Line with the command figures of the 61st to make a nice display of firing line figures.   Don't worry, what you do in the privacy of your own home is entirely up to you!   Without further adieu, click here to be taken to the appropriate catalog pages.

•	NAP0019a-NAP0019e French Line Artillerists to be sold invidually - Ships 5/5/2008
	We've had many requests for some gunners to go with the new NAP0044 French 8lb gun, so we've decided to release sets NAP0019a, b, c, d, and e in extremely limited quantities.  These are five of the gunners that ship with NAP0019 French 12lb Artillery Set and 7 Crew.   The only way to get the officer, the drummer, and the 12lb gun is still to buy the full set NAP0019, however, for those of you looking to either compliment your existing NAP0019 with an 8lb Gun and some crew figures or looking to just start collecting with a smaller set than NAP0019, we feel that the release of these gunners along with the 8lb gun provides you that opportunity.  Please visit the Specials and Promotions page for details on the pre-release offer.  Supplies are extremely limited so order yours today!

•	NAP0044 Pre-Release Special - Ships 3/14/2008
	Because of the popularity and positive feedback we've received for the 12lb Gun that comes with set NAP0019 French 12lb Gun and Crew, we've decided to release Set NAP0044 French 8lb Artillery Piece and Accessories without the crew for added variety.   Unlike the 12lb gun, which bears the crest of Napoleon, we've put the crest of the Ancien Regime on the 8lb gun.   We hope you'll agree that the crest is just as beautiful as on the 12lb'er, but provides additional variety.   Please visit the Specials and Promotions page for details on the pre-release offer.  Supplies are extremely limited so order yours today!

•	40mm French Cuirassiers and French Dragoons, FNC001-FNC011 Now Available!
	Well, after long delays, we've finally finished the casting and packaging of our first 40mm Napoleonics to become available, FNC001-FNC007 French Cuirassiers and FNC008-FNC011 French Dragoons.   As such, we've enabled the online ordering system for these packs and you can view them in our 40mm French Cavalry Catalog.   These will be the first releases to become available and will be followed shortly by the French Artillery 8lb gun and crew, then the 13 packs of French Line Infantry, and the 20+ packs of Russian Infantry.    Keep a lookout for the Spartans as well, as they will be available towards the end of March/Early April.  We really appreciate the patience of all of you who have contacted us looking for these figures.  The wait is finally over and we should be releasing new castings regularly after the initial releases.

February 2008

•	First Legion Begins Casting 40mm Spartans and Napoleonic Russians
	We've begun the process of casting up the first of our 40mm Ancients ranges, the Spartans.   These will be closely followed up by their opposing counterparts, the Persians.  Get your Hot Gates ready because the Spartans will be with you by early April and will be available through TM Terrain at Salute in the UK and directly from order from us.   The Persians should be available in May.   We've also begun casting up our Napoleonic Russians as well.   The wait is almost over on these, as these too should be ready around the same timeframe.   For pack details of each, please see our 40mm Napoleonics and 40mm Antiquity product catalogs.

January 2008

•	First Legion Announces the Creation of 90mm Connoisseur Range
	We are pleased to announce the creation of a new product range, 90mm Connoisseur. This range will consist of wonderfully sculpted 90mm one-off character figures throughout history beautifully painted to the highest standard. The first of our planned releases is CON01 Saladin - King of the Saracens and should be available in April 2008. Please note that as these are one-off collector's pieces, there will be no mass production of these and it could help to place advance orders once you've seen our first paint master to make sure you are able to get yours as we will only stock 2-3 of these figures at any given time. Please check out the workbench to see Saladin in all his glory and feel free to contact us should have any questions or require more information!

•	First Legion Delays the Release of the 40mm Napoleonic Wars Range
	We have delayed the release of our 40mm Napoleonic Wars range. We were extremely unhappy with the casting quality of our initial releases and made the difficult decision to scrap the molds and cast them all over again. Yes, it's a costly mistake for us and delays the release until January 2007 of this new and exciting range, however, we feel that the quality of the castings simply cannot be compromised. As such, we have shut off the ability to order from our 40mm Napoleonic Wars catalog and thus far only have suitable images of the French Cavalry. We expect to have all of the images in a few weeks, so in the meantime, you can see images of the products in the gallery and workbench as well as view full product listings of the current catalog. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you understand that it is our goal to deliver products of the highest quality.
•	First Legion Launches its website and Online store
	Well, how quickly time has passed. We announced that our website would be "Coming November 2007" and we (almost) made it! We came up a day late and some 40mm Napoleonics short, but we're now officially online to stay. Our online store and catalog is open for business, so please browse through our products and take a look at what we have to offer. The website will be constantly updated as new products are released, news is released, and our gallery and workbench are updated with new images and releases. Speaking of which, be sure to check out the workbench as it shows all of our upcoming product releases.
•	First Legion Offers a Pre-release Special on All Products on the site
	Though our website is up, our products are not yet in our warehouse and available for delivery. Thus, until such time as the products currently listed in the online catalog are actually reach our warehouse, we're having a pre-release special. This is a 10% discount on the 54mm Napoleon's Europe Bavarians, NAP001-NAP0018. Please note that this discount is in addition to any other discounts listed on our Specials and Promotions page. Act quickly on this, however, as the day the products hit the warehouse, this will immediately and without warning go the way of dinosaurs. Currently, we expect the first of our 54mm Napoleon's Europe and 40mm Napoleonics to be in stock and available for shipment on or around December 14th, 2007, so the discount is currently scheduled to end on December 15th, 2007. This discount will be automatically applied during the checkout process.
•	First Legion Partners with TMterrain and Minutemen Toy Soldiers
	First Legion has reached agreements with some long time friends of ours over at TM Terrain and Minutemen Toy Soldiers to represent our company at UK and US tradeshows and wargames shows respectively. Though we are a direct to consumer company, we felt that it was extremely important to have a strong show presence and we couldn't be happier to be working with George over at Minuteman Toy Soldiers and David and Mark over at TMterrain. •	54mm Napoleon's Europe Production Commences on NAP0019-NAP0029
	That's right, production has commenced on the next 11 product releases of Napoleons Europe 54mm toy soldiers. Set NAP0019 French Artillery Set with 12lb Gun, Set NAP0020 Mounted French Artillery Colonel, and set NAP0021-NAP0029 Old Guard Grenadiers are all in production and we expect them all at our warehouse ready for delivery on February 1st, 2008 for the Artillery and Old Guard and March 1st, 2008 for the Napoleon and Staff Set.
