NAP0250 - General Jean-Pierre-Francios Lepaige Dorsenne
First Legion is pleased to present the latest figure in our Mounted Personality sub-range of Napoleon's Europe, General Dorsenne! Our Old Guard Grenadiers are one of the few releases that we've done that haven't been accompanied by a mounted officer. When we decided to add one, rather than do a Colonel or Chef de Battalion, we decided to produce the ultimate Old Guard officer - the near legendary General Dorsenne. Serving with Napoleon since Italy in 1797, he fought in Italy, Egypt, and the campaigns of 1805, 1806, 1807, and 1809 where he was wounded at Aspern Essling. He served with the Imperial Guard since its formation and took command of the Grenadiers a pied in 1805. With an illustrious career this figure is a must add to lead your Imperial Guard Grenadiers! Simply superb sculpting and a level of painting that is normally reserved for much more expensive figures, NAP0250 General Dorsenne will make a fantastic addition to any serious Napoleonic toy soldier collection.
